‘SLASH’ BOOK SIGNING, FRIDAY OCTOBER 5
WITH PHOTOG ROBERT KNIGHT  + CHAMPAGNE & CAKE

Rock icon, and all around cool guy, Slash of Guns N’ Roses fame is the subject of iconic photographer Robert Knight’s new book, Slash: An Intimate Portrait. The heralded photographer will be signing copies of his book at the innovative and elegantly chic Mouche Gallery in Beverly Hills on Friday October 5 from 7 to 9 pm. Proceeds from sales benefit Music Unites.

Famed rock & roll photographer Robert Knight will feature his treasured work with Slash, as well as his myth-making photos of other legendary artists at his Beverly Hills book signing. In other Slash news, the guitarist will be headlining The Wiltern on Wednesday, October 3 in support of his Apocalyptic Love release, as well as performing his new single “Standing in the Sun” on “Conan” this Thursday, October 4.

RSVP to rsvp@mouchegallery.com is required to attend the book signing.
Slash: An Intimate Portrait takes you beyond the glitz and mystique, to reveal the warmth, charm, and humility of one of popular music's most revered rockers. Robert Knight's Slash photos trace significant milestones over 20 years in Slash's career, showing him onstage, in the studio, and at home.

Robert Knight has a rare talent for capturing the true essence of his subjects, revealing the candid, dramatic, and often funny in larger-than-life rock stars. His lens has captured some of the greatest guitarists of all time: Jimi Hendrix; Jimmy Page; Steve Vai; and Eric Clapton. Currently, his work graces over 200 Guitar Center locations.

Michael Lemmo, a member of Robert Knight's Brotherhood of Guitar , will be playing a special acoustic performance.

A percentage of proceeds from this event will be donated to Music Unites, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing music education to underprivileged children in under-funded inner city school systems. Music Unites goal is to connect people through the universality of music by providing communities with opportunities for a rich musical experience.
Mouche Gallery is located at 340 N. Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills.
