Take my advice, run don’t walk to get tickets to see Silence! The Musical—the irreverent and hilarious unauthorized parody of Silence of the Lambs now playing at the Hayworth Theater.

In the bleeding vein of Re-animator the Musical, another first-rate spoof that recently played at the Hayworth, this is a laugh-out-loud production that is hard to beat. While everyone is obsessed and talking about the groundbreaking Book of Mormon, this is the little show that will delight and steal the local theater scene.

And kudos to Jeff Hiller for stealing the show with his over-the-top performance. He killed me with just a smile. An original cast member since the show’s original production at the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival, Heller has appeared in such films as Ghost Town and on TV shows like “30 Rock” and “Community.” But he says booking his multiple roles in Silence! has been his first “job of real merit.”

“[Silence!] goes anywhere to get a laugh,” Heller explains. “And sometimes those places aren’t pretty.”

Featuring dancing lambs and songs like “Are You About a Size 14?” L.A. audiences can finally see what NY audiences went crazy over off Broadway. This show kills and is destined to be a classic audiences will want to see again and again.

The Hayworth Theater is located at 2511 Wilshire Blvd. Click here to buy tickets.
