NU SANCTUARY LOUNGE
— GET YOUR HOOKAH ON

An imaginative restaurant and lounge, Nu Sanctuary Lounge offers an eclectic dining menu, a creative and wicked signature cocktails list, and a vast assortment of hookah options. And now that the blistering summer heat has passed, sitting outside to dine, drink and/or hookah becomes a great place to people watch.

If you’re looking to start off with a cocktail, you’ll have your choice of beer, sake, wine and adventurous signature cocktails. You may wish to kick things off with the tasty Ra drink made with a fresh handcrafted mixture of Bacardi Dragonberry Rum, sweet syrup, fresh lime garnished with blackberry and mint. It’s extremely refreshing and satisfying.

If you have a sweet tooth and you love a savory drink, then you should give the Go Van Gogh a try. Prepared with Van Gogh Chocolate, espresso and vanilla vodka’s enhanced by Frangelico, sweet syrup, half & half, and dusted with cinnamon, this cocktail really hits the spot.

Hungry and ready to dine, sure you can go with proven classics like the Spaghetti and Meatballs, or the Nu Burger, or Pizza, but I say treat yourself and really dive into the menu and sample some of their fine fare such as the Beef Carpaccio “Steak and Eggs” which is thinly shaved filet mignon with avocado, fried egg, red onion, black truffle and parmesan. It’s mouthwateringly delicious.

Another wonderful selection is the hearty Braised Lamb Tagine and Global “Aromatics” with citrus scented Basmati rice, roasted apricot curry and cucumber.

And the Pierogi, potato filled and topped with American caviar and chive crème fraiche, is not to be missed.  Another favorite was the savory Scallops dish prepared with chickpea crusted, cauliflower risotto, pancetta lemon brown butter and truffle cloud. It’s just out of this world.

And if you’re looking to just chill and hookah, there’s a wild assortment of well over a dozen concoctions to choose from. With a different DJ-themed evening going on every night of the week, and a rabid club atmosphere on weekends, I like the cool lounge vibe and the popular people-watching patio.

Nu Sanctuary Lounge is open daily for lunch, dinner and late-night starting at 11 a.m. Call 702-527-7851 for more info.
