FUEGO LATIN AMERICAN BRUNCH SERIES CONTINUES
NEXT STOP…GUATEMALA ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of brunch and I’ve been loving the ongoing Latin American brunch series at Fuego at Hotel Maya in Long Beach where once a month brunch, which doesn’t require a passport, will transport you to a different Latin American destination where Executive Chef Victor Juarez takes you on a delicious culinary tour. This month’s brunch destination is Guatemala on Sunday, October 29 where live Latin music will set a lively atmosphere of good eats.
Fuego, the modern, Latin infused indoor-outdoor restaurant and lounge, offers a unique seaside setting featuring 13-foot-tall glass walls that fully retract with seating inside and on the patio area. Fuego’s stunning open-air views include the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach skyline and Queen Mary.
Fuego guests looking for an extended Guatemala experience will also enjoy the daily offerings of Fuego’s Guatemalan entree “Chicharron” and the featured Guatemalan dessert “Arroz con Leche.” The Guatemalan drink of the month is “Zacapa Rum Punch” with Zacapa rum and fresh exotic juices.
“Guests can go to Guatemala without ever leaving Long Beach each day in October and especially on Sunday, October 29 during our Guatemalan brunch,” said Jeff Dieter, Director of Restaurants at Hotel Maya - a DoubleTree by Hilton. “Great Guatemalan food and drinks are topped off by the sensational Sounds of Guatemala, which is all set seaside in Fuego’s waterfront patio.”
